Don’t let the final score fool you, this was a 2 point game with only 8 minutes left in the game. Mark Gozilla Gozun scored 11 points in the final quarter and showed why he’s the favorite to win the Season 2 MVP award. The mental mind games and strategies were on display for this first game, both teams elected to go MAN on defense, both team’s #1 equaled each other with 31 points apiece, but the supporting cast of Direwolves only went 5 for 35 while Black Hawks went 15 for 29. Black Hawks captain, Jemy “Da Gem” Quindoy, had this to say “We played great team defense, but Direwolves is a great shooting team, I don’t expect them to have another off night.” I expect game two to have more adjustments, let’s see if any of teams switch up their defenses to slow down the star players.
