Baskets were hard to come by early in this game, but Nick Juan gave Dire Wolves an early lead using his patented spin move drive in the paint. Joe Florin started to get hot from behind the arc connecting on three consecutive 3 pointers, while Andrew Cabotaje would dominate the paint early and help Shadow Panthers to an 8 point lead at the end of the 1st quarter. Ivanator Sanchez started to get rolling in the 2nd quarter for Dire Wolves which cut the lead to 3 at halftime. The game remained close as both teams struggled from the field. However, the 4th quarter belonged to Kevin Rainman Evangelista, he reminded me of Reggie Miller running around and finding open spots for his 3 point rainbows! It was like watching an angel walking on clouds. Shadow Panthers remained the second team to be undefeated, they will have a showdown in two weeks with Black Hawks for the possible top spot. Dire Wolves showed they have the defense to contend, they just need to be more consistent on offense to close out games.
