Monstars looked efficient on offense using pinpoint passing to get easy baskets. It looked like Monsters were going to runaway with an easy win, but Ivanator Sanchez got hot from downtown to keep Shootout within striking distance. In the second half Shootout had no defensive answer for Jay Lacson as he exploded for 27 total points, and after missing a ton of shots Carl Bang Bang Bicera hit his final three shots to finish with 8 points. Shootout can blame the loss on the inability to convert on free throws going a terrible 9/22 from the charity stripe. Monsters are going into the playoffs confident and are cashing on some receipts, they want Bastos Bueno to eat his pre season predictions!
