This was a tough game to watch with a PBLCA record of 77 missed shots, it was obvious that both teams had trouble scoring the basket. This was definitely a game of runs and it seemed as if each team would alternate going on scoring dry spells. Jason Gutierrez and Sean Pacuno would lead Oilers in scoring with both players shooting a good percentage from downtown. The Game still hung in the balance as time in the 4th quarter dwindled down, but Ryan Reyes was able to connect on 2 clutch three pointers to give Tropics the 42-39 victory. General Joe Florin gave his team the stability they needed, whenever they were in a scoring rut, he came through with a timely basket. Going forward, Oilers need Mayhem and Hibachi to be more aggressive on the offensive end if they want to win some games before the playoffs.
