This one looked like it was going to be a landslide win for Iron Legion as they took a 24 point lead going into the half. Jacob Ramirez dominated in the paint with 13 points and 15 rebounds, while Redmond used aggressive moves to the basket to get most of his 16 points. Hibachi Arinas didn’t let his team quit as he went off from the 3pt lane as Black Mambas inched closer and closer to give themselves a chance to tie the game, but Mayhem Merto’s shot came up just a little short. Iron Legion was not pleased with their performance despite winning, they felt this game was closer than it should have been. Ethan Leano had a great defensive game, especially in the second half, he was a vital contributor to the big comeback. Iron Legion has a big showdown against Shadow Panthers that may have playoff implications.
