For War Wolverines to win this game, they would have to do it without their primary ball handler and scorer, Patrick Juan. The first quarter went back and forth, but the game was decided in the second quarter as Raging Bulls outscored War Wolverines by 14. The backcourt for Raging Bulls played masterful, the trio of VJ “Hypeman” Magpali, Pax “Piranha” Pacuna, and Marvelous Mark Leal combined for 43pts, 23 rebounds and 14 assists to lead their team to victory. Shan Boparai and JT Topacio could not capitalize in the paint, combining for only 11 points, they should have bullied their way to easy baskets especially when Donald Lopez was off the court. Raging Bulls is going to be a problem this season, they obviously have chemistry and play with energy led by their enigmatic leader VJ. Kiko Ronqiullo had 17 points and Jun Custudio had 20 points in the losing effort. Look out for Piranha Pacuna for defensive awards, he’s accumulating blocks from the guard position.
