This was a two man game in the Dire Wolves victory. Reports from trusted sources informed me that Nick Juan was fired up before this game and promised to bring the crowd to their feet, and boy did he deliver with a 29 point 10 rebound performance for Dire Wolves. Santos Crespo matched his teammate with his own 20 point 16 rebounds 5 steals performance, a feat that put the statisticians in awe. Black Mambas never got it going from downtown as they went for a dismal 4 for 23 from behind the arc, and after watching the game on tape delay I saw some of the wildest passes I have ever seen and as a team they ended with a total of 15 turnovers. I know it’s only Week 2 but is it time for Black Mambas to push the panic button? Dire Wolves will have to continue to win gritty games like this to be successful in the future, but will they always need 49 points from their two stars to get those wins? Black Mambas just need to start hitting their threes, if they went 8 for 23 they win the game!
