These two teams traded blow for blow the whole game, the biggest lead of the game was only 5 points with no team ever looking comfortable. It’s clear to see the Wolves offense runs straight through General Joe Florin, he led all scores with 23 points, while Pacific Kings had nice balance scoring. Westside Wolves went 1-8 from the free throw line in the final 3 minutes which setup an exciting finish to end the game. Down by 2, Mark Leal of Pacific Kings threw up a 3 pt alley-oop pass to Shan Boparai, but the Big Bopper was unable to covert the point blank shot and send it to overtime. Westside Wolves are on a 3 game winning streak and despite their offensive woes, their defense can win them a championship. Pacific Kings improved plenty from last week and will use next week’s game as another stepping stone to get them ready for a Cinderella run in the playoffs.
